EnterSolar has a team of experienced solar professionals that are experts in the industry. For this next installment of our “Meet the Team” blog series, we are highlighting our Vice President of Technology and Procurement, Edgar Lim.
Over the past decade, Edgar has worked in the areas of solar system design and engineering, energy simulation, system optimization, and technology evaluation. He currently leads EnterSolar’s procurement efforts and manages the key vendor partnerships.
Edgar’s career in solar started at a residential solar company in Los Angeles, where he honed the art of solar design and engineering. From there, he went on to be part of a large-scale solar development firm based in New Jersey, where he engineered multi-megawatt solar projects including ground-mounts, roof-mounts, and parking lot canopy systems. He also went on to lead the firm’s Operations & Maintenance team prior to joining EnterSolar in 2012.
Edgar received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and has been a certified NABCEP PV Installation Professional for 8 years.
