EnterSolar and Bloomberg LP announced that they would be developing a solar park at JFK Airport in Queens, NY. This project will use Remote Net Metering to provide power to Bloomberg’s Manhattan office. Peyton Boswell, Managing Director, EnterSolar and the project’s developer, stated, “While Manhattan often presents challenges for solar energy, we are proud to be partnering with Bloomberg, one of the world’s most recognizable brands based here in New York, on this renewable energy project. In addition to being the largest remote net-metered project in New York City, this project is the first to use remote net metering to power a midtown Manhattan skyscraper with a remotely-sited solar PV system.”
